What is Spotlight Tour?

Inclusive & Multi-Genre: We welcome artists from every musical style, ensuring a rich variety and vibrant musical community.
Professional Platform: Artists gain experience performing live, promoting their music and navigating the music industry in a professional setting.
Cash Prizes & Exposure: With prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250 for the top three artists in each city, Spotlight Tour provides meaningful rewards for artistic excellence and audience connection.
Artist Development: Participants receive marketing materials, promotional support and constructive feedback from industry judges to help them grow.

Competition Format

Artists register to perform in their chosen city and play an active role in promoting the event by selling a minimum of 20 event tickets. This helps build anticipation, ensures a packed venue and creates an enthusiastic audience ready to support their performance.

Once the lineup is confirmed, the venue is announced and promotion begins 6–8 weeks before the event. On show day, artists hit the stage in front of a live audience and a panel of music industry judges. Out of 25 performers, the Top 3 receive cash prizes and access to exciting new opportunities.

What is the Spotlight Tour?

The Spotlight Tour is a nationwide live music showcase, artist networking event and competition series hosted in 100+ cities across the USA, Canada, Mexico and other countries to be announced. Each event features 25 mic-only performers competing for cash prizes, fanbase growth, professional exposure and the opportunity to connect with industry experts, all while earning their spotlight on a national stage.

Who can participate?

All artists are welcome — all genres, all levels. Whether solo, duo or group, it’s your voice, your music and the mic.

How do I sign up?

Complete the online registration form, include your artist details, music samples and select your preferred competition city.

Is there a registration fee?

Currently, there is no registration fee to join the Spotlight Tour competition.

What are the prize amounts?

Each city awards cash prizes to the top performers: $1,000 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd and $250 for 3rd.

How do ticket sales work?

Each artist must sell a minimum of 20 tickets to qualify for their city’s event. Ticket sales also contribute bonus points to your final score and help create a packed, high-energy crowd to support your performance.

When and where do events take place?

Events are held in 100+ cities across North America. Venue details for each city will be announced once the artist lineup is confirmed.

A panel of seasoned music industry professionals evaluates each performance based on creativity, stage presence, audience connection and overall talent.

How are winners decided?

Winners are chosen through a combination of expert judging scores and live audience energy. Each performance is evaluated on talent, stage presence, creativity and impact. The crowd’s response can make the difference between a great performance and a winning one.
